Coming Up Tomorrow On The Dickenbock Report: The Anniversary Of Venera 7 Landing On Venus

(image from here)

On December 15, 1970 - nearly 54 years ago - the Soviet Union landed a probe on the planet Venus. It was the first time human beings did such a thing - landing a probe on another planet. & the first time we got a sense of what our sister planet was really like.

Tomorrow on the Dickenbock Report on XRAY FM, we'll talk about that mission as well as talk to an astronaut who wants to be the first human on Venus. Plus we'll listen to many musical reports about the planet Venus.

That's Sunday, December 15, from noon to 1pm, on 91.1+107.1fm in town, & xray dot fm everywhere. Venus is currently around 300 millions kilometers from earth, so if you're listening there, it'll take a few minutes for the radio waves to get to you. We apologize for the delay.
